Tag product with has-qr when a QR code is createdUpdated 5 hours ago
Use this Shopify Flow template to have a Shopify product tagged with “has-qr” when you create a “product” action QR code, making it easier for you to see which products have already had a QR code created.
Before you start
QuiQR Codes must be installed and active on your Shopify store, and be on the Premier plan.
Shopify Flow must be available on your store so you can import and edit the workflow.
NOTE
This will only apply to QR codes that are created after the workflow is activated, and it will not tag products that already have a QR code.
Install the workflow
Download the template, then import it into Shopify Flow.
Download Shopify Flow template
Download and extract the file - Download the ZIP folder using the button above, then extract (unzip) it on your computer to get the
.flowfile.
Open Shopify Flow - In your Shopify admin, open Shopify Flow.
Import the workflow - Choose the option to import a workflow, then upload the extracted
.flowfile.
Review the imported steps - After import, confirm that the workflow includes the “Add product tags” action.
Customize the workflow
After importing the template, review and update the workflow settings before turning it on.
Confirm the event name: The default event name is
QuiQR: Tag product as "has-qr". Keep it as-is or rename it if you want.Adjust the tag if needed: The workflow defaults to setting the tag to “has-qr” but you can change this in the final step (“Add product tags”).
Turn it on
Save your changes - After updating any workflow settings, save the workflow in Shopify Flow.
Enable the workflow - Turn the workflow on so it can start listening for new product QR codes being created.
Test the workflow - Create a new QR code, choosing “Product” for the action, and selecting a product. Check that product within the Shopify admin, and it should show
WARNING
If the workflow is not turned on, no products will get tagged when the QR codes are created.
What this workflow does
Once enabled, the workflow watches for any newly created product QR codes within QuirQR, and then tags the linked product with “has-qr”.
