Use this Shopify Flow template to have a Shopify customer tagged with QuiQR and QuiQR {Code Name} whenever they place an order after scanning a QR Code.

• QuiQR Codes must be installed and active on your Shopify store, and be on the Premier plan.

• Shopify Flow must be available on your store so you can import and edit the workflow.

NOTE

This requires that you have actioned the “Allow order access to track revenue” banner on the QuirQR Codes dashboard to allow for QuiQR to receive order webhooks from Shopify.

Download the template, then import it into Shopify Flow.

1. Download and extract the file - Download the ZIP folder using the button above, then extract (unzip) it on your computer to get the .flow file.

2. Open Shopify Flow - In your Shopify admin, open Shopify Flow.

3. Import the workflow - Choose the option to import a workflow, then upload the extracted .flow file.

4. Review the imported steps - After import, confirm that the workflow includes the “Add customer tags” action.

After importing the template, review and update the workflow settings before turning it on.

• Confirm the event name: The default event name is QuiQR: Tag customer after order. Keep it as-is or rename it if you want.

• Adjust the tag if needed: The workflow defaults to setting the tag to QuiQR and QuiQR {Code Name} but you can change this in the final step (“Add customer tags”).

1. Save your changes - After updating any workflow settings, save the workflow in Shopify Flow.

2. Enable the workflow - Turn the workflow on so it can start listening for new orders being placed.

3. Test the workflow - Scan a QR code, then place an order; the Shopify customer record should then be tagged with QuiQR and QuiQR {Code Name}.

WARNING

It can take a few moments for the tag to appear against the customer, as QuiQR has to wait for Shopify to send a webhook with the order.

Once enabled, the workflow watches for any newly created orders after a QR code scan, and will tag the customers with QuiQR and QuiQR {Code Name}.
