Send an internal email when a QR code campaign takes offUpdated 5 hours ago

Use this Shopify Flow template to have an internal email sent whenever a QR code is scanned more times than the Campaign scan alert amount (which can be daily or all time).

• QuiQR Codes must be installed and active on your Shopify store, and be on the Premier plan.

• Shopify Flow must be available on your store so you can import and edit the workflow.

NOTE

The workflow comes set up with email content for both “daily” and “all time” but the app will only trigger one of them depending on the app settings.

Download the template, then import it into Shopify Flow.

1. Download and extract the file - Download the ZIP folder using the button above, then extract (unzip) it on your computer to get the .flow file.

2. Open Shopify Flow - In your Shopify admin, open Shopify Flow.

3. Import the workflow - Choose the option to import a workflow, then upload the extracted .flow file.

4. Review the imported steps - After import, confirm that the workflow includes the “Send internal email” action.

After importing the template, review and update the workflow settings before turning it on.

• Confirm the event name: The default event name is QuiQR: QR campaign takes off. Keep it as-is or rename it if you want.

• Set the “To” email address: The workflow defaults to leaving the “To” email address in “Send internal email” blank, so you will need to set the required email for this template to work (in both of the email actions).

1. Save your changes - After updating any workflow settings, save the workflow in Shopify Flow.

2. Enable the workflow - Turn the workflow on so it can start listening for any QR Codes being scanned more than the alert level.

3. On the settings screen, set the alert level, and whether you want daily or all time scans

4. Test the workflow - Scan the QR code the required amount of times, and you should then receive an email.

WARNING

It can take a few moments for the event to be triggered, whilst QuiQR codes is collating the scans to check.

Once enabled, the workflow watches for any QR code getting scanned more than the configured alert amount, and sends an email once it does.
