Create QR code style templatesUpdated 3 hours ago

Overview

The QR code templates feature allows you to save your custom styling configurations so they can easily be reused on future QR codes. Instead of manually rebuilding your designs, you can instantly apply your saved colors, patterns, and logos to any new QR code you create.

Key Benefits

  • Saves time: Eliminates the need to manually configure design settings for every new QR code.

  • Ensures brand consistency: Keeps your QR code styles uniform across all your marketing materials and products.

  • Streamlines bulk creation: Easily apply your branded designs to multiple codes at once using the bulk generation tool.

Prerequisites

  • Your Shopify store must be on the Core plan for QuiQR Codes.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the QuiQR Codes app from your Shopify Admin.

  2. Navigate to the Manage QR Codes screen.

  3. Click on an existing QR code that already has your required styling applied, or create and style a new code.

  4. Click the Save as Template button.

  5. If you're creating a new code; complete the required fields and select the specific styles you would like to include in this template.

  6. Click Save on the code, and then click Save as Template to confirm and store your design (a name will be required)

Verification/Next Steps

To verify your template was saved successfully, navigate to the Settings screen and look under the Style templates section. Your new template should be listed there.

When creating new QR codes in the future, you will now see a new template selection field at the top of the Styles section. Choosing your template from this menu will automatically apply your saved styles to the new code.

TIP

You can also apply your style templates when generating codes in bulk! When using the app extension from the Products area of your Shopify Admin, simply select your desired style template before generating your batch of QR codes.
